We're dancing, dancing a splendid waltz. The grand hall is dark, and outside the rain is violating the ceiling and the great windows. The forest outside is dark as well, though it seems not half as menacing when I'm in here, and dancing, with you. The plants in pots, paraded around the big room, are all dead and withered. Their leaves and petals once spectacular, are faded on the cold stone floor. I see them only in flashes of white light, flooding through the giant windows. The flashes are always followed by rumbling sounds, though the noises seem to follow no pattern, I know they're coming. You're coming. I never notice how silent it is

Many words, yet none quite the ones to describe the feelings making their way along with the flying pancakes invading the room. Strange, I thought, for I could not recall a stove or oven of any kind being built into our shared office. But then again such trivial things had never stopped him before in such endeavours. A man stands at the top of a tall building. His intentions to jump are the only ones filling his mind. After a while, standing still on the edge, a spiteful voice echoes in the man's head. "Weren't you going to jump?" The man nods, then replies; "There are some things I wish to do first, many things yet, in this very city, I have never experienced." So the man left the building, and travelled into the centre of town. He cried bitter tears as his finger let go of the string, pushing an arrow swiftly forward. The forrestfloor slumbered under a thick blanket of new snow, leaving only few signs of life; His footprints, And mine. I felt a sting in my chest as I saw the man, now striding carefully towards me. Dancing

We're just dancing. Dancing in a large room. Multi-coloured lights flow down on us from the ceiling. There's about four other people in the room, they too, are dancing. This person holds me tight, which doesn't feel uncomfortable for some reason. We all turn round, and round, dancing, but there is no music. It's dark outside, and the rain is pouring like there's no tomorrow. It's darker in here, despite the cheesy lights. I remember once in elementary school, we were making Christmas decorations. For once the teachers actually let us do something ourselves. I was gluing something, probably of impressingly bad quality, onto something else, probably of even less quality. Anyway, I was using a glue gun. I always though them to be mighty fancy objects. The teacher had told us inexplicably to be very careful. Probably a wise choice, taking into consideration that children seem to be able to hurt themselves with just about anything. The man who greeted me from behind his desk seemed much like what I had expected at first. He wore a black suit, no tie. He had somewhat short hair in a colour somewhere between red and dark brown. He was not pale, nor tan. I sighed with relief as the other people I had been told to contact before had seemed like complete nut-jobs, that feeling of relief quickly left me though. Waking up in an empty apartment was something I had ,by now, grown very used to. The empty soundless rooms resonated with the echoes of my bare feet slapping towards the floor. I just got a new cellphone... The telephone people kept calling me about some offer thingie... I ignored their calls...
